Nexus-Prince Shaffer is the final boss in the Mana Tombs instance. This paper will discuss the proper method to defeat Prince Shaffer.
You will find the Mana Tombs in Auchindoun, which is located in the center of the Bone Wastes zone. To reach Mana Tombs from Shattrath city must travel to the east of the city until you reach the first street. Follow the road south to enter the Bone Wastes and then go south. Eventually enter into an area of structural ruins Auchindoun calls. Work your way inside and find the call Auchindoun Stone for cases of Auchindoun. From the Summoning Stone, is targeted directly at the north and the entrance to Mana Tombs. (Hint: Mana Tombs has many Consortium NPCs outside of the instance-entrance. If you do not see these NPCs, you can be at the entrance of evil!)
Before your party deals with Prince Shaffer, each player must be aware of:
Ethereal Beacons – These are those who kill and certainly end his party several times until everyone figures they have to die first. The Prince will have three of these floating around him in the beginning of the fight. The Ethereal Beacons will transform into wheels if his party does not destroy them fast enough. If the headlights are allowed to transform into wheels, the procedure the explosion of his party to pieces. It is important to focus on the Ethereal lights at the start of the fight and then DPS the Prince once the lights are dead. Moreover, party members should immediately switch their targeting to any Ethereal Beacon where one spawn and destroy it before continuing to DPS the Prince.
The basic strategy for Nexus-Prince Shaffer:
1. Only your tank should start the Prince at the start. All others must pre-objective individual Ethereal three lights before your tank pulls Prince Shaffer. Assign to the objectives of the party members to ensure everyone knows which Ethereal Beacon they are killing. (Hint: There is always an Ethereal Beacon located directly behind the Prince. The easiest way to target that Beacon is to click directly on the Prince's head.)
2. When the tank is removed, all other party members should focus their attention on the three Beacons and destroy as quickly as possible. Kill the lights first is critical to winning this fight. When you destroy the lights, party members may begin to DPS the Prince.
3. Sometimes the flashes Prince and teleport a short distance. Normally this does not reset the aggro list. Your tank should be able to move immediately to the Prince after each blink. Moreover, your healers must be prepared to move if you have line of sight to the issues of healing the tank.
4. Every ten seconds, the Prince Shaffer Ethereal Beacon spawn another somewhere nearby. All group members (except your tank and healer) should immediately focus their DPS at the Beacon New Ethereal until it is destroyed. Do not let the lamp is transformed into a caster! Once the lighthouse is dead, resume DPS on Prince Shaffer.
5. If you got to this stage, then you have the headlights Ethereal under control. Now you should DPS the Prince as you would any other boss, and then divide up the spoils.
Nexus-Prince Shaffer does not hit very hard (melee-wise), so the tank should not have significant physical damage during combat. Magic damage However, the Prince had not been cast, specifically: frost, shadow, fire and arcane damage. If you have resistance auras or spells that can be cast, it will be useful. No need to change the team of resistance for this fight DPS gear is far more important than any kind of resistance gear that you can have.
If you are the party leader, it is imperative to stress his fellow party-members to kill the Ethereal lights immediately. Headlamps are the key to this fight. Control them and you will defeat Nexus-Prince Shaffer without difficulty.
